Gaurang is the founder and CEO of GoSTEM. He leads a diverse volunteer team of professionals with varied educational backgrounds. His organizational strategy and vision have allowed GoSTEM to sustain growth over the years. In addition, he has strategized a financially sustainable plan that utilizes diverse streams of funding to meet the organization’s long-term goals. Gaurang has been responsible for building strong relationships with key organizations, universities, and community leaders. He has cultivated relationships and partnerships with external constituents to further the mission of GoSTEM. These partners include Chicago Public Schools, local universities and community organizations. Gaurang also has led the initiative to increase brand awareness through marketing campaigns, social media engagement, podcasts, print, and fundraising.
Gaurang received a Bachelors of Science from DePaul University, and was a McNair Scholar. He worked at the National Institutes of Health as a clinical research fellow. He worked with patients conducting clinical research trials, and published a research paper in the American Academy of Neurology Journal during his fellowship.
